Unfortunately, September 2, 2020, witnessed the day as The Ministry of Information and Technology finally banned Pubg Mobile and Pubg Mobile Lite in India and other 117 Chinese apps.
Since the popular battle royale game Pubg Mobile suddenly got banned by the Government, everyone started questioning why India banned Pubg.
Why Pubg Banned in India?
As per the report from The Ministry of Information and Technology, these apps gotten banned due to the prejudicial to India’s integrity, sovereignty, public order, and defense.
They also added that they received many complaints about the misuse of some widely popular mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms. These were also stealing and transmitting user’s data in an unauthorized manner to the servers who are possibly located outside India, which is a huge threat to India.
On the statement, The Ministry of Information and Technology claims that profiling and mining by the elements hostile to National Security and Defence of India need to take a necessary step.
Considering all these things, the Government of India has to take this major step. After the ban, every social media platform stormed with memes and posts about the prohibition of Pubg Mobile.
It’s been two days of the ban, and the game is finally removed from the Google Play Store and App Store. So don’t there to download or install the game. But if you have already installed the game, then you can play it right now as the game is not blocked from the server. It may soon get banned from the server as well.
In the end, we can say that you won’t be able to play Pubg Mobile in India officially. But you are free to play the game on your PC with the Pubg PC version and also installed Emulator to play the Pubg Mobile version on PC.
